# Products and services

> Describe what you sell, with the problem it solves, proof, free resources, and objection answers, then pick it on a campaign.

**A product is a description of one thing you sell. Each campaign pitches one product, and Guhan uses it to write the pitch and to answer replies.**

If you sell more than one thing, add each one and use a separate campaign per product.

## Add a product

Brand & Voice, **Products & Services**, then add one. Every field is optional, but the more you fill in, the more specific the messages get.

| Field | What to put |
| - | - |
| **Name** | What you call it. |
| **Description** | What it does and for whom, in one plain paragraph. Skip marketing taglines. It is background for Guhan, not copy to repeat. |
| **Pain this solves** | The specific problem prospects have. Messages use it to frame the opening. If left empty, Guhan falls back to the customer pain points on your Brand tab. |
| **Case studies (proof)** | For each: company or customer type, challenge, solution, and result. Include a number in the result. The company can be a real name or an anonymous description such as "a home-decor brand about your size". |
| **Free resources you can offer** | Things you can give away to earn a reply, such as a benchmark or a checklist. For each: title, description, format, and an optional public URL. With a URL, replies include it. Without one, Guhan leaves you an Inbox task to send it yourself. |
| **Objection handling** | Common objections and how you answer them. Used when Guhan drafts replies. |

## Pick the product on a campaign

On the campaign, open the start step's **Sequence settings**. Choose the product under **Product**. It sits next to the campaign's context and goal, and applies to every message in that campaign. The product is optional.

If you delete a product a campaign still uses, or leave it unset, Guhan falls back to your workspace-level description and pain points.

See [Build a campaign](/campaigns/build-a-campaign).

## Tips

* Lead with the pain, not the feature list.
* One strong case study with a real number beats three vague ones.
* A free resource with a working link makes a good call to action, because the reply can deliver it straight away.
