# Campaigns

> A campaign is the outreach plan Guhan runs for a list of prospects - who to reach, which steps to take, and which accounts send.

**A campaign turns a list of prospects into conversations. You choose the audience, build the step-by-step sequence, connect the sender accounts, and Guhan does the sending, waiting, and follow-up.**

A [list](/audience/lists) answers "who should we talk to?". A campaign answers "what do we do with them?". Guhan reads your [brand voice and product](/brand-and-voice/overview) every time it writes a message, so the campaign itself only needs to describe the plan.

## What a campaign is made of

  </Card>

  <Card title="Senders" icon="paper-plane">
    The connected LinkedIn, email, and WhatsApp accounts that send for this campaign. You pick a pool per channel.

A campaign also carries a **product** (what you are pitching), a **goal** (what success looks like), and a short **context** note that steers every message it writes.

## What Guhan does when a campaign is live

For every prospect in the audience:

1. Starts them at the first step of your sequence.
2. Writes each message for that person, or sends the exact text you fixed in advance. See [Personalization](/campaigns/personalization).
3. Sends from one of your connected accounts, inside the sender's send window and daily limits. See [Sending safety](/campaigns/sending-safety).
4. Waits, follows up, and branches as your sequence says.
5. When someone replies, routes the reply to your [Inbox](/inbox/overview), where Guhan drafts a response or hands the conversation to you.

## The campaign page

Open **Campaigns** in the sidebar to see all your campaigns with their status, messages sent, reply rate, and meetings. Click one to open it:

| Tab | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Leads** | Every prospect in the campaign, which step they are on, and their status. Prospects in the audience that have not enrolled yet show as waiting. |
| **Sequence** | The sequence editor, where you build the steps. Click the **Start** step to set the campaign name, audience, product, goal, context, re-entry rules, and senders. |
| **Overview** | Activity and results for the campaign. Right after launch it shows Guhan finding your first prospects. |

The button in the header runs the campaign: **Launch**, **Pause**, or **Resume**, depending on its state.

## What costs credits

Sending itself is free. Credits are used when Guhan writes a message for you (Auto-draft and Guided steps, and AI replies that send automatically) and when it has to look up contact details. Fixed-message steps do not use credits. The full price list lives in [Plans and credits](/workspace-settings/plans-and-credits).
