# Connect LinkedIn to Guhan AI for Automated Outreach

> Link your LinkedIn account to Guhan to send AI-personalized connection requests and messages to high-intent prospects — safely within platform limits.

LinkedIn is Guhan's primary outreach channel for B2B prospecting. Connecting your account lets the agent send personalized connection requests and follow-up messages on your behalf — reaching high-intent prospects at exactly the right moment, without you lifting a finger. Guhan researches each prospect before reaching out, so every message feels hand-crafted rather than automated.

## Connecting your LinkedIn account

  </Step>
</Steps>

## LinkedIn safety limits

LinkedIn enforces strict daily activity limits to detect and suppress automation. Exceeding these limits puts your account at risk of temporary restriction or permanent suspension. Guhan ships with conservative defaults designed to keep your account safe.

| Activity            | Guhan recommended limit             |
| ------------------- | ----------------------------------- |
| Connection requests | ≤ 20 per day                        |
| Direct messages     | ≤ 20 per day                        |
| InMail messages | Based on your LinkedIn plan credits |

You can review and adjust these caps at any time in **Settings → Channels → LinkedIn → Daily Limits**. Raising limits beyond Guhan's recommended defaults is possible, but strongly discouraged.

<Warning>
  Using third-party automation on LinkedIn carries a risk of account restriction if overused. Stay within Guhan's recommended daily limits and avoid running multiple automation tools simultaneously.
</Warning>

## What Guhan sends on LinkedIn

Guhan handles three distinct message types on your LinkedIn account, each triggered at the right stage of the outreach sequence:

<CardGroup cols={3}>
  <Card title="Connection Requests" icon="user-plus" href="/agent/outreach">
    Personalized connection notes based on the prospect's role, company, and recent activity — not generic "I'd like to connect" templates.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Follow-up DMs" icon="message" href="/agent/follow-ups">
    After a prospect accepts your connection, Guhan sends a tailored follow-up message that references the connection context and introduces your value proposition.
  </Card>

  <Card title="InMail" icon="envelope" href="/agent/outreach">
    For open profiles or prospects you aren't connected with, Guhan sends InMail using your available monthly credits.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

## Reconnecting or disconnecting

LinkedIn sessions can expire after a period of inactivity or if LinkedIn detects an unusual login. When your session expires, Guhan pauses outreach for that sender and flags the account in **Settings → Channels → LinkedIn** with an **Action Required** status.

**To reconnect:** Click **Reconnect** next to the flagged account and repeat the login flow. Your daily limits and sequence settings are preserved.

**To disconnect:** Click the **⋯** menu next to your connected account and select **Disconnect**. Any active sequences using that sender are paused immediately. You can reconnect the same account or swap in a different one at any time.

<Tip>
  Use a LinkedIn Premium or Sales Navigator account as your sender for higher InMail credits and better search visibility when Guhan is researching and targeting prospects.
