> Answers to the most common questions about Guhan AI: features, pricing, credits, channels, integrations, and compliance guidelines.

This page answers the most common questions from new and existing Guhan AI users. Whether you're just getting started, curious about how the AI works under the hood, or exploring pricing and compliance details, you'll find clear answers below. If you can't find what you're looking for, reach out to the team at [hello@guhan.ai](mailto:hello@guhan.ai).

## Getting Started

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What is Guhan AI?">
    Guhan AI is an autonomous AI sales agent that finds high-intent prospects, researches each one individually, and books qualified meetings on your behalf — across LinkedIn, Email, and WhatsApp. Unlike traditional outreach tools that rely on static lists and generic templates, Guhan continuously monitors buying signals to identify prospects who are actively in a buying moment, then crafts and sends fully personalised outreach without requiring manual input from you.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I sign up?">
    Head to [app.guhan.ai](https://app.guhan.ai) and create your account using your business email address. Once you're in, the onboarding flow will guide you through connecting your channels (LinkedIn, Email, or WhatsApp), defining your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), and launching your first campaign. Most users have their first campaign live within a few hours of signing up.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Do I need a credit card for the free trial?">
    No. You can start your free trial without entering any payment information. You'll receive a set of complimentary credits to explore the platform — enough to run a small campaign and see real results. You only need to add a payment method when you decide to upgrade to a paid plan or purchase additional credits.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How long does it take to get the first meeting booked?">
    Most users see their first meeting booked within three to seven business days of launching a campaign. The exact timeline depends on your ICP definition, the volume of active buying signals in your target market, and the channels you've enabled. Campaigns targeting segments with strong recent intent signals — such as companies that just raised funding or posted relevant job openings — tend to generate meetings fastest.

## How It Works

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="How does Guhan find high-intent prospects?">
    Guhan continuously scans 15+ buying signals to identify prospects who are in an active buying moment right now. These signals include LinkedIn post engagement, hiring activity, funding rounds, executive changes, technology adoption patterns, and competitor-employee movements, among others. Rather than working from a static list, Guhan surfaces prospects dynamically — the moment a company or individual exhibits a signal that matches your ICP, they enter your pipeline. This means you're always reaching out at the most relevant time.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How is each message personalized?">
    Guhan researches every prospect individually before writing a single word. It analyses their LinkedIn activity, recent company news, role changes, and any relevant buying signals it detected. The resulting message is written specifically for that person — referencing their actual context, not a generic persona. There are no fill-in-the-blank templates. Every subject line, opening line, and call to action is generated fresh for each contact, which is why Guhan's reply rates consistently outperform traditional sequencing tools.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does Guhan send messages automatically, or do I need to approve them?">
    By default, Guhan operates autonomously — it researches, writes, and sends messages without requiring your approval for each one. This is what makes it a true AI agent rather than a drafting assistant. If you prefer a human-in-the-loop workflow, you can enable a review queue in your campaign settings, which holds outgoing messages for your approval before they're sent. Most users start with the review queue on and switch to fully autonomous mode once they're comfortable with the quality of the output.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What happens when a prospect replies?">
    When a prospect replies, Guhan reads the response, classifies the intent (interested, not interested, asking a question, requesting a meeting, and so on), and responds appropriately. If the prospect expresses interest or wants to book a meeting, Guhan shares your calendar link and handles the scheduling. If they ask a question, Guhan answers using the context you've provided about your product. If they opt out, Guhan stops all sequences for that contact immediately. You can review all conversations at any time from your inbox dashboard.
  </Accordion>

## Channels & Integrations

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Which channels does Guhan support?">
    Guhan supports outreach across three channels: **LinkedIn**, **Email**, and **WhatsApp**. You can run campaigns on a single channel or combine all three for a multi-touch approach. Calendar booking is natively supported for Google Calendar (Gmail senders) and Outlook Calendar (Microsoft 365 senders), so meetings land directly on your calendar without any third-party scheduling tool required.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Will my LinkedIn account get restricted?">
    Guhan is designed to operate within LinkedIn's usage guidelines. It mimics natural human behaviour — respecting daily connection and message limits, introducing delays between actions, and avoiding patterns that trigger LinkedIn's automated-activity detection. That said, no tool can offer a zero-risk guarantee when automating LinkedIn activity. To minimise risk, keep your LinkedIn profile complete and in good standing, avoid running other automation tools simultaneously, and follow the daily limit recommendations displayed in your campaign settings.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Which CRMs does Guhan integrate with?">
    Guhan syncs prospect data, conversation history, and meeting outcomes with popular CRMs. Native integrations are available for HubSpot and Salesforce. If your CRM isn't listed, contact [hello@guhan.ai](mailto:hello@guhan.ai) — the team regularly adds new integrations based on customer demand. All sync settings are managed from **Settings → Integrations** inside your Guhan dashboard.

## Pricing & Credits

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="What counts as a credit?">
    One credit is consumed each time Guhan researches a prospect. Research includes pulling publicly available information about the individual and their company, analysing relevant buying signals, and building the personalisation context used to write outreach. Sending messages, handling replies, and booking meetings do not consume additional credits — you only pay for the research step. This means you can run multi-touch sequences and extended follow-up conversations without any extra credit cost.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What happens when I run out of credits?">
    When your credit balance reaches zero, Guhan pauses research for new prospects. Existing conversations and follow-up sequences for already-researched prospects will continue uninterrupted. You'll receive an email notification when your balance is running low so you have time to top up. You can purchase additional credit packs at any time from **Dashboard → Credits**, or upgrade your plan to receive a higher monthly credit allowance.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I get a refund?">
    Refund eligibility depends on your billing cycle:

    * **Monthly plans** — monthly subscriptions are not eligible for refunds once the billing period has started.
    * **Annual plans** — if you are on an annual plan, you are entitled to a full refund within **7 days of your purchase date**, provided you have processed fewer than **50 prospects** during that period. If you have already researched 50 or more prospects, the refund window does not apply.

    If you believe you were charged in error, or a technical issue caused credits to be consumed incorrectly, email [hello@guhan.ai](mailto:hello@guhan.ai) with your invoice number and a description of the issue. The support team will investigate and issue a credit adjustment or refund where appropriate.
  </Accordion>

## Compliance & Privacy

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Is Guhan GDPR compliant?">
    Yes. Guhan is designed to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023, and the CAN-SPAM Act.

    Under this framework, **Guhan acts as a data processor** — we process prospect data strictly on your instructions and on your behalf. **You, as the customer, remain the data controller** — you are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis (such as legitimate interest for B2B outreach) to contact the prospects in your campaigns.

    Guhan honours opt-out requests immediately. When a prospect asks not to be contacted, they are removed from all active sequences and suppressed from future campaigns. If you have specific compliance requirements or need a Data Processing Agreement (DPA), contact [hello@guhan.ai](mailto:hello@guhan.ai).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What prospect data does Guhan collect?">
    Guhan collects only the publicly available business information needed to personalise outreach and qualify prospects. This typically includes name, job title, company name, LinkedIn profile URL, business email address, and relevant public activity such as posts, job changes, or company news. Guhan does not collect personal data unrelated to professional context, and does not sell prospect data to third parties. All data is stored securely and retained only for as long as necessary to operate your campaigns.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How is Guhan different from Apollo, Outreach, or Lemlist?">
    Apollo, Outreach, and Lemlist are powerful tools, but they are fundamentally list-and-sequence platforms — you define a static audience, load them into a sequence, and send templated messages at scheduled intervals. Guhan is different in three key ways:

    1. **Intent-first prospecting** — Guhan doesn't start with a list. It detects real buying intent signals before deciding who to contact, so you're only reaching out to prospects who are in an active buying moment.
    2. **True personalisation** — every message is researched and written individually for each prospect. There are no templates or merge tags, which means significantly higher reply rates.
    3. **Autonomous reply handling** — Guhan reads and responds to replies on your behalf, qualifies interest, and books meetings without you needing to manage an inbox. Other tools hand the conversation back to you the moment a prospect responds.
