Onboarding creates your first Watchlist Agent automatically. When you need a second one — targeting a different persona, a different market, or a different signal — here’s how.

The 4 questions you’ll answer

1

Who are you looking for?

Job titles + location + industry + company size.
2

When should this trigger?

Pick zero, one, or several signals (funding, hiring, engagement, etc.).
3

Where should they go?

Pick a List. Prospects the agent finds land here.
4

What should we call this agent?

A name so you recognize it in your list of agents.

Step-by-step

1. Open the create panel

  • Simple mode: from your Outreach Agent’s Sources tab → + Add Watchlist Agent
  • Advanced mode: sidebar → Watchlist Agents+ New

2. Fill the WHO section

Add each title as a chip. Guhan auto-generates variants:
  • You type: VP of Sales
  • Guhan matches: Vice President Sales, SVP Sales, Senior Vice President Sales, Head of Revenue, Head of Sales…
You can see and edit the auto-variants below the input.
Autocomplete-backed. Type “San Francisco” → pick from suggestions. Multi-select with OR logic.Cities, states, countries, regions all work. “United States” catches everyone in the US; “New York” catches NY-metro only.
Same LinkedIn taxonomy Guhan uses everywhere. Pick 1-N industries.
“SaaS” isn’t a LinkedIn industry — it’s a subset of “Software Development”. Use “Software Development” and let signals narrow further.
Headcount slider. Leave both ends blank = no cap.Ranges to consider:
  • 1–10 — pre-seed startups
  • 11–50 — seed to Series A
  • 51–200 — post-Series-A scaleups
  • 201–1000 — mid-market
  • 1001+ — enterprise
If you sell to a specific geography (e.g., US companies only), set HQ = United States. This is stricter than person-location — the company has to be HQ’d there.

3. Fill the WHEN section

Pick signals. Click a signal card → configure its parameters. Common combinations:
Signal: Funding raised recently
  • Stages: seed, Series A, Series B
  • Recency: last 90 days
  • Job titles above: CEO, Founder, Co-founder
Signal: They’re hiring
  • Departments: Sales
  • Min open jobs: 3+
  • Recency: last 30 days
  • Job titles above: VP of Sales, Head of Sales, CRO
Signal: Engaged with competitor’s post
  • Competitors: paste your competitors’ LinkedIn company URLs
  • Job titles above: whoever your buyer is

4. Pick a List

The Target List dropdown — pick where new prospects should land.
  • Existing List → adds to that List
  • + Create new List → new bucket + auto-binds it
Multiple Watchlist Agents can feed the same List (multiple triggers, one audience).

5. Name it

Something you’ll recognize: “US SaaS VPs — funding signal” or “Just hired Head of Sales — enterprise”.

6. Launch

Click Launch. First sweep fires immediately — you’ll see prospects landing within 5-15 minutes.

After launch

You land on the Watchlist Agent detail page:
  • Today’s sweep strip — how many prospects landed
  • Sweep history — the last 30 runs
  • Filtered prospects accordion — who Guhan considered but rejected, with reasons
Come back tomorrow to see fresh prospects from the next sweep.

Editing later

Everything is editable from the detail page:
  • Change WHO filters → next sweep uses new filters
  • Add / remove signals → next sweep uses new signals
  • Rebind to a different List → future prospects go to the new List; already-landed stay in old
  • Pause → agent stops sweeping
  • Delete → agent is gone; already-landed prospects stay in the List
