The majority of meetings don’t come from the first message — they come from the second, third, or fourth touchpoint. Guhan automates the entire follow-up sequence so no prospect goes cold due to a missed check-in. Each follow-up is re-personalized based on the prospect’s latest activity, meaning they never receive a generic “just circling back” message. The result is a consistent, human-feeling conversation that keeps your pipeline moving without requiring any manual effort on your part.

Follow-Up Sequences

Guhan sends up to five follow-up messages per prospect, fully configurable in cadence and tone. Each message is generated fresh at the time of sending — Guhan checks for any new activity from the prospect (a post, a job change, a company announcement) and incorporates it into the message where relevant. Navigate to Settings → Follow-ups to configure your sequence:
SettingDescription
Number of follow-upsChoose between 1 and 5 follow-up messages per prospect. Most sequences perform best with 3 follow-ups.
SpacingSet the number of days between each follow-up. A typical cadence is Day 3, Day 7, and Day 14 after the initial message.
ToneFollow-up tone can be set independently of your first-message tone — many users prefer a slightly more casual tone in later touchpoints.
Guhan stops the sequence automatically as soon as a prospect replies, books a meeting, or is marked inactive. It will never continue messaging someone who has already responded.

Reply Handling

When a prospect replies to any message in a sequence, Guhan reads the full reply in context and responds accordingly. There are three main reply scenarios:

Positive Reply

Guhan detects buying interest or an explicit request to connect, and responds with a calendar link to book a meeting. It handles timezone confirmation and any scheduling back-and-forth automatically.

Question or Objection

Guhan reads the objection or question, formulates a relevant, grounded response, and re-engages the prospect. It draws on your product context and research brief to answer accurately.

Not Interested

Guhan gracefully closes the thread with a polite acknowledgment and marks the prospect as inactive. No further messages are sent, and the prospect is removed from all active sequences.
All reply handling happens automatically, but every conversation is visible in your Inbox in real time. You can jump in and take over at any point — see Handing Off to You below.

Handing Off to You

When a prospect becomes “hot” — meaning they’ve confirmed a meeting or are showing high engagement signals like multiple replies or questions — Guhan flags the conversation for your attention. You’ll be notified in two ways:
  1. Email notification — Guhan sends you an email alert with a summary of the conversation and a direct link to the prospect’s profile in the dashboard.
  2. Dashboard flag — The conversation is marked with a 🔥 indicator in Inbox → Hot Leads so you can find it instantly.
From the prospect’s profile, you can review the full conversation history, the research brief Guhan built, and the intent signals that triggered outreach. Click Take Over to pause Guhan’s handling and reply manually from that point forward.
Never manually message a prospect that Guhan is actively sequencing — it can break the conversation context. Use the Pause sequence button on the prospect’s profile first.

Opting Prospects Out

Any prospect who replies with “unsubscribe”, “remove me”, “stop”, or any equivalent opt-out phrase is immediately removed from all active sequences. Guhan detects these phrases automatically across all languages and channels. Opted-out prospects are moved to Prospects → Opted Out and will not be contacted again by any campaign unless you manually re-activate them. This list is also excluded from future campaigns automatically. Compliance with opt-out requests is non-negotiable. Guhan enforces this automatically to keep your account — and your sender reputation — in good standing across Email, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp. Do not attempt to re-enroll opted-out prospects unless they have explicitly re-engaged with you.
