Guhan integrates directly with your work email to send personalized cold outreach at scale. Once connected, the agent composes tailored emails for each prospect, tracks opens and replies, and handles responses autonomously — escalating warm conversations to a calendar booking without any manual intervention. Email is available on the Growth plan and above, with native calendar integration for Google Calendar and Outlook.

Supported email providers

Guhan supports the two most widely used business email platforms:

Gmail (Google Workspace)

Connect any Google Workspace account with a custom domain. Requires granting Guhan permission to send, read, and manage emails via OAuth.

Microsoft Outlook (Microsoft 365)

Connect any Microsoft 365 account. Requires approving Guhan’s permission request via your Microsoft account login.
Personal email addresses — such as @gmail.com, @hotmail.com, or @yahoo.com — are not recommended for cold outreach. Cold email sent from personal addresses damages sender reputation quickly and is more likely to land in spam. Always use a professional domain (e.g., you@yourcompany.com).

Connecting Gmail

1

Open Email settings

Go to Settings → Channels → Email in your Guhan dashboard.
2

Start the Gmail connection

Click Connect Gmail to launch Google’s OAuth flow.
3

4

Your Gmail address appears in the Email channel list with a green Connected status.

Connecting Outlook

1

Open Email settings

Go to Settings → Channels → Email in your Guhan dashboard.
2

Enter your Microsoft 365 credentials when prompted.
4

Approve permissions

Review and approve the permission request so Guhan can send and read emails on your behalf.
5

Confirm the connection

Your Outlook address appears in the Email channel list with a green Connected status.

Email deliverability tips

Getting your cold emails into the inbox — not the spam folder — depends on several factors outside of Guhan’s copy quality. Follow these practices before and during your campaigns:
Deliverability checklist:
  • Use a custom domain. Never send cold outreach from a free @gmail.com address. Inbox providers treat free-domain cold email as spam.
  • Warm up your domain first. If your domain or sending address is new, warm it up gradually for 2–4 weeks before launching campaigns. Use a dedicated warm-up tool or Guhan’s built-in warm-up feature.
  • Start slow. Keep daily sends at ≤ 50 emails per day initially, then scale by 20–30% each week over 2–4 weeks as your sender reputation builds.
  • Unsubscribe links are automatic. Guhan appends a compliant unsubscribe link to every email to meet CAN-SPAM and GDPR requirements — do not remove it.

Tracking opens and replies

Guhan automatically tracks opens and replies for every email sent through a connected account. You don’t need to configure anything — tracking is on by default. View your campaign performance at any time by navigating to Campaigns → [Campaign name] → Analytics. The Analytics tab shows:
  • Open rate — percentage of delivered emails that were opened
  • Reply rate — percentage of delivered emails that received a reply
  • Positive reply rate — replies classified as interested or requesting more information
  • Meetings booked — prospects who clicked your calendar link and completed a booking
Reply classification is handled automatically by Guhan’s AI. Positive replies trigger the next step in your sequence (typically a calendar booking link). Negative or opt-out replies are marked and removed from further outreach.
