Search criteria
The most common source. You describe your ideal customer — job titles, location, industry, company size — and Guhan searches its data pipelines every day for people matching.Job titles
Job titles
Add each title as a chip. Guhan auto-generates variants so you don’t have to list every wording:
- You type: VP of Sales
- Guhan matches: Vice President Sales, SVP Sales, Senior Vice President Sales, Head of Revenue, Head of Sales…
Location
Location
Autocomplete-backed. Type “San Francisco” → pick from suggestions. Multi-select with OR logic.Cities, states, countries, regions all work. “United States” catches everyone in the US; “New York” catches NY-metro only.
Industry
Industry
LinkedIn’s official industry taxonomy. Pick one or many.
Company size
Company size
Headcount slider. Leave both ends blank = no cap.Common ranges:
- 1–10 — pre-seed startups
- 11–50 — seed to Series A
- 51–200 — post-Series-A scaleups
- 201–1000 — mid-market
- 1001+ — enterprise
HQ country (optional)
HQ country (optional)
If you sell to a specific geography (e.g., US companies only), set HQ = United States. This is stricter than person-location — the company has to be HQ’d there, not just the person.
Buying signals
Only add people when a triggering event fires. Signals turn a broad audience into a “reach out to them right now” moment. Pick from six signal types on the WHEN panel:- 💰 Funding raised recently — companies that just raised a round
- 📈 They’re hiring — companies posting roles in a department you care about
- 👔 New leadership joined — companies where an exec or director joined recently
- 🎯 Engaged with a competitor’s post — people who liked or commented on your named competitors’ posts
- 📢 Posted about specific keywords — people writing (or engaging with) posts matching your keywords
- 🎁 Engaged with a specific post URL — people who reacted to or commented on exact post URLs you paste in

Competitor engagement
A special case of the “posts” signals — you paste your competitors’ LinkedIn URLs and Guhan watches every one of their posts, landing the people who engage.- Company URLs watch every employee’s posts from that company.
- Individual profile URLs watch a specific person (e.g., a competitor CEO or head of marketing).

Copy from another List
Duplicate the current members of an existing List into a new one. Useful when you want to:- A/B test two sequences against the same audience
- Segment further — take an “All US SaaS” List and copy into a smaller “US SaaS · Enterprise” List
- Reactivate — copy a stale List into a new one with a fresh sequence
CSV upload
Upload a CSV of prospects you already have. Guhan enriches them from LinkedIn and treats them like any other prospect. Minimum columns:linkedin_urlORemail(at least one)name(optional but recommended)
email— pre-populates so Guhan doesn’t need to reveal it (saves credits)company_name,title,phone— anything else you have
Manual add
Paste a LinkedIn URL or search by name to add one prospect at a time. Best for:- Warm leads — someone you already know is a fit; skip discovery entirely
- Referrals — a colleague forwarded you a lead
- Testing — add yourself to a List before launching to confirm the messaging looks right
Multiple sources on one List
You can add as many sources as you want to the same List. Every source runs independently — Guhan de-dupes so no prospect gets added twice. Example: an “Enterprise Sales Leaders” List might have:- Search criteria source: VP Sales at 500+ headcount SaaS companies
- Funding signal source: same criteria + only when funding announced in last 90 days
- Competitor engagement source: watch two competitor company URLs
