Blocking a company
If you never want to reach out to anyone at a company:- Block a company → automatically applies Do Not Contact to every prospect at that company + prevents future prospects at this company from landing
- Blocking your own company (so you don’t outreach yourself)
- Blocking competitors (auto-detected — see Brand & Voice → Competitors)
- Blocking customers you already have relationships with
How companies get discovered
Three ways:- Via a prospect — you found a person; Guhan pulls their employer as a Company
- Via a signal — a signal like “funded recently” finds a Company first; then people at that Company get pulled
- Manual — you can add a company by URL in Advanced mode
Deleting
Companies are NOT deletable from the UI (chat agent tools can’t delete them either). Blocking is the typical action.Related
