Guhan uses credits. Each plan comes with monthly credits. Actions like finding a prospect or revealing an email spend credits. Sending doesn’t. Think of it like data on a phone plan — you get an allowance every month, top-ups are available if you run out.

What costs a credit

Sending doesn’t cost credits — LinkedIn / email / WhatsApp actions are gated by daily send caps on your sender accounts, not by credits.

Two credit pools

Your workspace has two credit balances that stack:

Monthly grant

Refills to your plan amount on your billing anniversary. Unused credits DON’T carry over.

Top-up pool

Bought as credit packs. Carries over 12 months. Spent AFTER the monthly grant is depleted.

What happens when you run out

If your combined balance hits 0:
  • Prospect discovery pauses — Lists stop landing new prospects
  • Email / phone reveals pause — steps needing an unreachable channel skip
  • AI reply drafts pause — replies fall back to plain-classify + hand off to you
  • Ask Guhan works but every response burns overflow (which fails when balance = 0 → Ask Guhan tells you)
  • Sending doesn’t pause — messages already drafted continue going out (sending itself is free)
You’ll see a banner at the top of the app. Buy a pack OR wait for the monthly reset.

Upgrading and downgrading

Upgrade — takes effect immediately. Guhan credits the difference between old + new monthly grant to your wallet on the same day. Downgrade — scheduled for the end of your current billing cycle. You keep the higher plan until then; new plan starts at renewal. You can cancel the scheduled downgrade before it lands. Both from Settings → Billing → Change plan.

Trial period

  • Day 0–7 — full Starter features, no credit card required
  • Day 8 — trial ends; you’ll be prompted to add payment
  • Day 8–14 — if no payment, workspace goes read-only; all data preserved
  • Day 15+ — no payment yet? Data preserved for 30 more days, then archived

Payment failures on a paid plan

If a monthly renewal charge fails, your workspace enters a 7-day grace period:
  • Day 0–7 of grace: full access, banner asks you to update your card
  • Day 8+ of grace: workspace flips to read-only; data preserved
  • Update payment anytime to lift the read-only state

Refunds

Full refund on charges within 7 days of the invoice. Email hello@guhan.ai.
